These Bottled Mussels by Plate and Palate comes in two variations, Buttered Garlic and Adobo. You can do just about anything with these gourmet favorites. It’s perfect for pasta, for grilled sandwiches, for canapes, or as a topping for your Marinara Pizza, oozing with mozzarella (I am drooling while writing this article). EVERLASTING
Also known as “hardinera“, these Filipino-Style Meatloaf, which originated in Marikina City, is colorful, rich, and flavorful. It turns out to be a very festive dish that is usually served in parties. Plate and Palate’s version is made extra special with eggs, bell peppers, carrots, ground pork, perfectly molded and steamed in “llanera” (an oval-shaped pan, also used to make leche flan).
PASTA CARBONARA (Filipino-Style)
Carbonara is originally an Italian Pasta dish made with hard cheese, eggs, cured meats, salt, and peppers. But in the Philippines, we call any white-sauce pasta as “Carbonara”. Plate and Palate is Christmas-ready, as they over Filipino-Style Carbonara in trays or in tubs. The noodles are cooked perfectly with mushrooms, garlic, and a very creamy sauce, topped with chunks of bacon and parsley. If you’re looking for a dish for your family table on Christmas that would save you from the time and effort of cooking, this would be an exquisite addition to serve.
