About the Author Bobbie

Meet Bobbie — an Australian-certified Pastry Chef, licensed Food Technologist, and certified foodie with a serious love for beautiful food. She studied at The Australian Patisserie Academy, The Northern Sydney Institute, earned a BS in Food Technology in the Philippines, and even squeezed in Hospitality Management (Entrepreneurship) in Sydney — because why not? She travels between Manila and Sydney, but is currently Manila-based, turning her passion for food styling and photography into a full-blown creative pursuit. Bobbie also writes and shoots for food and travel magazines and websites, chasing good light, great flavors, and better stories.Bobbie is a Mental Health Awareness Advocate who openly shares her journey to help normalize conversations around mental health. She believes that awareness, empathy, and honest storytelling can create safer spaces for understanding, healing, and self-compassion. When she’s not working, Bobbie is a self-proclaimed mermaid, an unapologetic K-drama fan, and a certified “Platita” of Manila, meaning she enthusiastically hoards plates, mugs, and tea sets (because good food deserves good ceramics).Basically, if it involves food, travel, mental health, creativity, or the ocean — Bobbie’s in!
